Anne Newman is a retired neuropsychologist. She is currently writing a book about her grandparents' 1937 Bauhaus-style apartment building in Brno, Czech Republic. Her essay, "Gifts from Rosa," has been translated into Czech and was published in 2022 by the Museum of Vysočina Jihlava in Třešť. Anne lives in Maryland with her husband Don and their dog Nellie.
